You need to regularly check your tires to ensure they are in good condition before you drive your car. The first sign is worn down tread. It is one of the easiest to spot signs. If you check tires every day, you will notice changes on the grooves of the tires and get a replacement. Some brands of tires offer wear indicator that tell you when the treads are down enough and need tire replacement.

Cracks on the side of the tires can occur when you do not use your tire for a long time. In some instances, you can still drive the vehicle even with a few cracks. However, if the cracks are deep, you need to get instant replacement.

If you get constant flats and your tire has holes and cracks, you need to get a new tire. Other signs include exposed casing, visible ridge, and poor ride quality.
